Research Topics

Our general research area is in mathematical modeling and computational techniques for signal and image processing. We develop methods based on harmonic analysis tools such as wavelets, variational methods and Partial Differential Equations as well as statistical tools. We consider various applications such as image restoration/deblurring, image inpainting, remote sensing images processing, audio signal analysis, neuroscience signal processing...

We also investigate the connections and complementarity between Signal Processing and Machine Learning, working in close collaboration with the QARMA team of our neighbor computer science lab. LIF.
