This winter school aims to propose to a wide audience a scientific formation on the most modern technics in scientific computing and numerical analysis. We wish this school to be the place of fruitful exchanges between engineers, researchers, doctoral and post-doctoral students. The scope of meeting will be large as far as application fields are concerned (fluid mechanicsn electromagnetism, ...). Various numerical methods will be concerned (finite elements, finite volume, discontinuous galerkin, ALE, ...) as well as modern solvers (multilevel methods, domain decomposition, ...).
The scientific program (see below) will be composed of five 3-hour-long courses and eight one-hour-long review lectures. This program will be completed by some contributed talks from the participants to the school and poster sessions.
Finally, we will organise a special poster session dedicated to the presentation of free scientific computing software or libraries developed and used by the various participants to the school. .
