RESEARCH PROFILE:

My research in image processing concerns both the mathematical study of models and methods and their applications to medical imaging. I have published works about different image processing issues (texture analysis, image registration, 3D surface analysis, etc.) and applications to images of various modalities (radiography, contrast-enhanced imaging, IRPE, etc.).

TEACHING ACTIVITIES:

I have been in charge of several licence and master courses in statistics and data analysis (estimation and tests, linear Gaussian models, process statistics, discriminant analysis), calculus (differential calculus and equations, dynamical systems, optimization, etc.) and image processing.

ON-GOING RESPONSABLITIES:

Coordinator of the ANR PROJECT MATAIM Anisotropic models of texture. Applications to medical imaging. (nationally-funded project).

Head of the MASTER MASS (1 year) at Aix-Marseille university.
